For its many facets, Rio de Janeiro is the focus of the tourism industry in Latin America. The fact that the city is situated between a tropical rainforest and beaches, makes a variety of products can be offered in a single tourist destination. Rio is a city of contrasts: the colonial architecture reminiscent of the past, while striking modern buildings provide a glimpse of the future. Two landmarks, true postcard images, are known the world over: the Sugar Loaf and the statue of Christ the Redeemer. As a tourist destination, Rio does not depend on the seasons, since the climate is temperate all year round and its attractions can be enjoyed at virtually any time of year. Visitors soon discover a fact known of the city's inhabitants and of which they are proud: something is always happening in Rio - exhibitions, dance and music shows, sporting events.



This tour begins with a panoramic view of the city through the center of Rio, through the Sambadrome, the Metropolitan Cathedral, pyramid-shaped, with an internal diameter of 96 meters and height of 80 meters. Experience the traditional Cinelândia square with the historical buildings, the Municipal Theater, the National Library and the National Museum of Fine Arts. By taking the Flamengo, you will be taken to the Urca neighborhood where it is located one of the largest symbols of the city: the Sugar Loaf. This visit is done in two steps by cable car. The first cable car takes passengers to Urca Hill with 215 meters and swim can have a beautiful view of Guanabara Bay and its islands, the bridge Rio x Niterói and Corcovado hill. From that moment, a second car will be carried out to the top with 395 meters to find a splendid view from Copacabana beach, the fortress of Santa Cruz and some Niterói beaches.



From anywhere in the city, the visitor can see the most beautiful postcard of Rio de Janeiro: The statue of Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado Mountain, located 710 meters above sea level and inaugurated in 1931.
